About Us
Devil Dog Auto & Diesel Equipment is owned and operated by Navajo Marine, Roger Benny. Roger grew up in the Bloomfield area and graduated from Bloomfield High School. Upon finishing high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps and spent four years as a paratrooper. He did tours in the United Kingdom, North Africa, Central America and Hawaii. After an honorable discharge from the Marines, Roger returned to Farmington, NM to attend San Juan College. Utilizing his VA benefits, he entered the diesel program and received his Intensive Diesel certificate.
After obtaining his certificate, he began servicing and repairing off road equipment throughout the southwestern United States. Roger became tired of traveling, moved to Phoenix, AZ and began rebuilding 450hp - 3600 hp diesel engines. Later, he began teaching students at Universal Technical Institute, sharing his knowledge and field experience.
In 2008, Roger returned to Farmington and worked in the mining industry as a maintenance supervisor and planner. On February 2, 2018, what was a dream, became a reality and Devil Dog Auto & Diesel Equipment was founded. Today Roger and his team of expert mechanics work hard to provide dependable repairs and exceptional customer service.
